Disappointing! This book seriously over advertised it’s content.Sure it’s got 150 pages of color photography, but I wouldn’t call them gorgeous. A good half of the pics are blurry, grainy or dark, and of generally poor quality. Amateur pics to be sure.There is a section labeled Construction Details, however there are no actual construction details. There is some text on each page, though it doesn’t really explain or describe anything in any detail. Many projects are duplicated between sections, and the difference between projects (regarding overhead structure) is minimal…the major differences lie in the overall landscape design, though this is not really discussed.I bought this book looking for a variety of overhead structures to help show clients the many, many possibilities. The Sunset Trellis and Arbor book does a far superior job, and includes many construction details and detailed instructions for the DIY homeowner and designer alike.This book…
